Computer games tournament

Idea

Host an Olympics for computer gamers. Borrow a variety of computer games consoles and set up various themed multi-player challenges. These could take the form of knockout tournaments, high score tables, leagues or just free play for fun. You could host a Fifa 26 football tournament, a “Just Dance” league, a “Guitar Hero” highest score, a retro gaming area with Sega Mega Drives and PlayStation ones. Teenagers would be welcome to drop in and compete to get their name on the top of the score board. You may choose to have an awards ceremony at the end of each day and ask a nearby electronics store to donate prizes. You could even enlist trusted young people from your community to run it with you and lend their consoles.
